White Florals and a Checkered Dance Floor Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Esther and her bridesmaids added the finishing touches to their wedding day looks inside the Hangar 21 South Bridal Suite while Edward and his groomsmen suited up in the Mezzanine. Once both groups were ready, Edward and Esther stepped outside for their first look. On the photographer’s signal, Edward turned to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a strapless wedding gown with lace trim veil. Happy tears were shed, and sweet compliments were shared, then the couple joined their wedding party for group photos before lining up for the ceremony.

Guests entered the Hangar 21 South Side Patio, signed Esther and Edward’s guest book, then took a seat. White florals were arranged in white flower boxed at the back of the aisle, and matching arrangements sat atop white pillars on the stage. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Edward and Esther read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Thai Lemongrass Meatballs and Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls were tray passed around the tarmac while the bar served up Paloma and Lemon Drop signature drinks for cocktail hour. Everyone mixed and mingled while the newlyweds took-off on their flight over Orange County. As the sun began to set, guests checked the black and white seating chart and found their tables inside the hangar.

Long tables were topped with clear bud vases filled with white flowers, and circle tables were topped with perfectly arranged white floral and greenery centerpieces. A black and white checkered dance floor was positioned in the center of the room matching the color scheme of the wedding. Everyone stood and hit record on their phone camera as Edward and Esther touched down from their flight. An uproar of cheering could be heard across the tarmac when the newlyweds made their grand entrance into the hangar. Esther and Edward shared their first dance, and everyone took their seats. Toasts were shared and Thai Three Flavored BBQ Chicken, Roasted Pork Belly, Jasmine Rice, Chow Mein, and Vermicelli Noodle Salad were served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the couple cut into their Carrot Cake flavored Vintage Heart Cake and invited their guests to indulge in a slice for dessert. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves, striking a pose for selfies, and wishing the newlyweds well.
