Wedding at Hangar 21 Draped in White

Vivien and Nelson met on Hangar 21’s stage for their first look on the afternoon of their wedding. A tap on the shoulder turned Nelson around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a lace detail ballgown. Sweet compliments were exchanged, then the couple shared handwritten vows against the jasmine wall. The bride and groom posed for pre-ceremony photos, then lined up with their wedding party for the ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then found a seat. White floral arrangements lined the aisle and topped white pillars on the stage. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Vivien. In front of all their friends and family, Nelson and Vivien recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Beef Picadillo Empanadas, and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were tray passed on the tarmac while the bar served up Old Fashioned and Paloma signature drinks. A modern white lounge offered additional space for guests to sit back as small planes took off in the distance. Everyone mixed and mingled while the newlyweds took flight over Orange County touching down just in time for the reception.

White fabric draped the entire inside of the hangar, tables were topped with white floral arrangements and candlesticks, and modern white table numbers helped guests find their seats. Nelson and Vivien made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Grilled Panzanella Salad was served first followed by Classic Filet Mignon and Roasted Atlantic Salmon with Gourmet Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Broccolini. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the couple cut their cake and invited everyone to enjoy our Freshly Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with the newlyweds.
