Tropical Pop of Orange Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Lexi paused mid stairway for her first look with her bridesmaids at Hangar 21 South while her groom, Taylor, waited outside on the tarmac. On the count of three, the bridesmaids dressed in green and beige opened their eyes and screams of excitement filled the room. Compliments showered Lexi hyping her up for her first touch with Taylor. After photos together with the girls and a first look with her father and all the groomsmen, Lexi finally made her way to Taylor. Standing on both sides of Hangar 21’s doors, the bride and groom held hands and shared sweet words with one another while saving their first look for the aisle. After the intimate moment, the wedding party lined up for ceremony.

Orange and white flowers decorated the stage and matching arrangements marked the back of the aisle. Guests entered the side patio, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, and took a seat. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. All eyes were on the bride as she closed out the processional, including Taylor’s for the first time that day. The couple shared the emotional first look, then joined each other on stage. In front of all their friends and family, Lexi and Taylor read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Guests continued the celebration on the tarmac for cocktail hour where tray passed Roasted Red Cherry Tomato Mruschetta and Ellie’s Parmesan Meatballs made their rounds and the bar was serving up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Whiskey Sour and Aperol Spritz. While guests mixed and mingled, the wedding party had some fun on the tarmac posing together for pictures. After the photos, Taylor and Lexi took off on their flight over Orange County touching back down just in time for reception.

Tables were topped with floral bud vases and rattan charger plates giving the reception a tropical feel. Lexi and Taylor made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Chicken Piccata, Roasted Broccolini, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, and Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. Toasts were shared, and after dinner, a 2-tiered white cake with cappuccino creme filling and marble cake with chocolate Bavarian creme filling was cut. The newlyweds shared a bite and invited their guests to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. The DJ got everyone out on the dance floor for a group photo, and the rest of the night was spent there showing off dance moves and wishing the newlyweds well.
