Jarryd and Kirstie’s June wedding captured the romance of a tropical summer night with a color palette that rivaled the melting colors of a sunset- with green floral accents.
The evening began with an indoor ceremony-the stunning backdrop would be repurposed for their sweetheart table. I do’s were exchanged and their 120 guests were invited out to the Tarmac where they were greeted with a summer breeze, signature cocktails, and tray passed appetizers- crab cakes topped with a mango papaya salsa and crisp, cold vegetarian springs rolls. As they enjoyed the runway views with planes and helicopters in the background- the team inside worked to transform the space for reception. Viola!
They entered their reception in true Hangar 21 fashion with a helicopter grand entrance, but if you’re wondering what a grand entrance REALLY looks like on the other side. Here is the reaction from family and friends:
The tropical theme of the night carried on with a menu to match- beginning with a colorful Papaya salad, with an entrée choice of Kalua Pork with a Pineapple Brown Sugar glaze or Macadamia Mahi-Mahi served alongside candied sweet potatoes and a Hawaiian rice. For dessert, a cherry on top of a build-your-own sundae bar and fresh, warm cookies.
