Something Blue at Hangar 21 South

Alessandra and Andrew tied the knot at Hangar 21 South and met for their first look on the tarmac in front of our venue. Alessandra wore a beautiful, classic wedding gown with a trailing veil that had lace trim while Andrew was suited up in a blue grey tuxedo with floral bow tie and peach rose boutonniere. Andrew turned around with excitement and was nearly brought to his knees when he saw his bride standing there. The two were totally lovestruck and with a hug and kiss their bridesmaids and groomsmen approached them for pre-ceremony pictures. Alessandra’s bridesmaids wore sky blue floor-length dresses and held gorgeous bouquets of peach roses and blue hydrangeas while Andrew’s groomsmen wore grey blue suit pants, white button ups and suspenders. After pictures, the group made their way to the wedding ceremony.

A wooden hexagonal ceremony arch with greenery wrapped around stood at the head of the aisle where Andrew awaited his bride. Alessandra and Andrew exchanged vows and shared a kiss to conclude the ceremony. Their guests cheered and clapped as they walked out into cocktail hour. Tray passed Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Mini Franks and stationary Cajun Crab Dip with Baguettes were available along with an open bar mixing up the couple’s signature cocktails: A Washington Apple Martini and Coconut Mai Tai. As cocktail hour was coming to an end, everyone was asked to take their seat so they could see Alessandra and Andrew’s grand entrance. The newlyweds landed from their helicopter grand entrance and ran across the tarmac and into the venue for their first dance. After their first dance they sat at their sweetheart table where the ceremony arch was re-purposed and awaited dinner. Spinach, Apple and Walnut Salad, Cornbread Muffins and Honey Butter, BBQ Boneless Chicken, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Creamed Corn, Warm Bread Pudding, and Deep-Dish Peach Cobbler were served before guests hit the dance floor to end the evening.
