Romantic Industrial Wedding

Marissa and her bridesmaids toasted with champagne, then headed to Hangar 21 South where the guys awaited their arrival in the mezzanine. Kamran, the groom, was dressed in a classic black tux and black bow tie. His groomsmen wore matching suits and forest green bow ties that matched the bridesmaid dresses. Upon the bride and bridesmaids arrival, everyone met on the side patio to witness Marissa and Kamran’s first look. Marissa was dressed in a stunning all lace, mermaid style wedding gown with her hair perfectly slicked away from her face ensuring all expressions were visible. She approached her groom holding a bouquet of light pink, rust, and white flowers and with a quick countdown, Kamran turned to see his bride. Excitement filled both their eyes when they saw each other for the first time that day. Laughs, smiles, and a sweet exchange of loving words were shared before everyone lined up for the ceremony.

A welcome sign ushered guests into the side patio where they took their seat in modern black and gold chairs. Four black geometric pillars marked the front of the aisle and the stage where Marissa and Kamran would stand for the ceremony. Peach, rust, mustard, and beige floral arrangements added pops of color to the pillars and almost black leaves created an edge to the soft palette. The music cued up and Kamran made his entrance followed by the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Last but not least, Marissa walked down the aisle that had just been covered in flower petals. An exchange of the bride took place at the head of the aisle, then everyone was seated. The bride and groom recited traditional vows and exchanging rings in front of family and friends. The officiant pronounced them husband and wife and the crowd cheered as the newlyweds exited into cocktail hour.

Two lounge spaces were set up on the tarmac consisting of ivory and forest green furnishings with gold accent tables. A beautiful bar covered in balloons was the center of attention during cocktail hour. Our bartenders were serving up the bride and groom’s signature cocktails; an Old Fashioned and Paloma. Next to the bar and lounge was a 360 photo booth where guests posed for fun, memorable moments. Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts and Beef Picadillo Empanadas were also available as light bites before dinner. While Marissa and Kamran were off on their helicopter flight over Orange County, finishing touches were completed inside the hangar for the dinner reception. Wooden tables were decorated with floral arrangements and tall candlesticks that sat atop a mauve table runner. Plates were set with menus displaying the evenings plated offerings consisting of a Roasted Golden Beet Salad course and a Lemon Thyme Chicken, Short Rib Rotolo Bolzano, Fingerling Potatoes, and Grilled Green & White Asparagus dinner course. The menu was pre-selected by our Event Specialist, Sierra, along with the bride and groom during their planning process. Opting for a dual entree ensured that none of Marissa and Kamran’s guests were left wanting someone else’s entree by giving everyone the same meal but doubling the size of a traditional single entree plate.

The bride and groom made their grand entrance onto the tarmac dance floor for their first dance before everyone was seated. Everyone oohed and aahed while they watched the newlyweds saw from side to side and end their dance in a low dip of the bride. After, guests found their seats inside and Marissa and Kamran took their seats at the sweetheart table that was surrounded be their ceremony pillars and a stunning lighting backdrop. Friends and family made toasts from the mezzanine celebrating the happy couple while everyone finished their dinner. After dinner, Marissa tossed her bouquet and the wedding cake was cut. Guests flooded the dance floor out on the tarmac for the remainder of the evening and lasting memories were made.
