Marching Band Finale at Hangar 21 South

Neal and his groomsmen were first to arrive at Hangar 21 South suited up and ready to go. The groomsmen were dressed in light grey with rust ties and Neal wore dark navy with a matching floral tie. Group photos were taken on the side patio as Klaire and her bridesmaids pulled up to the venue. The girls headed inside for detail shots and bridal party pictures to make sure Klaire and Neal’s paths didn’t cross before the ceremony. Klaire was dressed in a floral embellished wedding dress and her bridesmaids wore salmon-colored slip dresses to match the boho theme. Holding bouquets of foliage and fresh flowers, the girls headed outside where they met up with the groomsmen to line up for the big reveal.

Guests entered the side patio and signed a record guest book on the welcome table, grabbed a fan, and took a seat. A circular backdrop decorated in brown, rust, white and peach flowers stood tall center stage with matching arrangements at the back of the aisle. Before long, all the seats were filled and the wedding party began their entrances. Everyone stood and clapped as Klaire walked out, eyes fixed on Neal. Guests were then seated and an emotional exchange took place at the at the head of the aisle. In front of family and friends, Klaire and Neal read handwritten vows to one another, watered their unity plant, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a sweet kiss as everyone cheered from the crowd.

Pineapple Rumaki, Fig, Goat Cheese & Mascarpone Tarts, and Seared Ahi on Wonton Chips were tray passed on the tarmac for cocktail hour and the bar was serving up beer, wine, and the newlyweds signature drinks; a Hawaiian Mule and Greyhound. A boho-inspired lounge complete with ivory couch, orange chairs, leather poufs, and wooden coffee table topped with succulents provided a relaxing spot for guests to sit back. While everyone was sipping and snacking, Klaire and Neal headed to the tarmac for golden hour photos and their helicopter flight. Upon their return, guests were seated inside the hangar awaiting the start of reception.

Rattan lights and greenery hung from the ceiling and light grey linens were draped over tables inside the hangar. Gold velvet napkins matched floral centerpieces and the ceremony back drop was repurposed as the sweetheart table backdrop. The bride and groom made their grand entrance into their first dance and thank you speech, then dinner was served. Mango Papaya Chicken, Honey & Ginger Glazed Salmon, Coconut Lime Rice, Wasabi Mashed Potatoes, Teriyaki Vegetable Brochettes, and Hawaiian Rolls filled everyone’s plates. The menu was selected by the bride and groom during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Arielle. The room fell silent as guests began enjoying their dinner, which was perfect because it was time to toast! Family and friends shared memories of the bride and groom that drew laughs from the crowd. Champagne filled glasses were raised and clinked in the air as each speech came to an end. After, the newlyweds privately cut their 2-tier chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling, then invited their guests to indulge in a little dessert as they made their rounds thanking everyone for coming. The evening ended with a surprise appearance from a marching band. Everyone got out of their seats and headed to the dance floor to dance with the bride and groom.
