Floral Fantasy at Hangar 21 South

A black acrylic welcome sign greeted guests along with refreshingly crisp champagne for Kalie and Eddie’s big day at Hangar 21 South. The unique wedding venue was decorated in pampas grass, white roses, greenery and other rust and maroon colored flowers out in the courtyard where the ceremony was to be held. The bride in her lace, bell sleeve dress met her bridesmaids that were dressed in maroon maxi dresses just in front of the hangar for photos. The groom and groomsmen also met them there for some group shots before getting ready to head down the aisle.

Guests trickled in, grabbed a glass of champagne, and found a seat awaiting the start of the wedding ceremony. Live music cued up and Eddie, followed by the bridesmaids and groomsmen, made their way to center stage. Kalie was last to walk out, arm in arm with her father. Everyone stood and admired the clearly visible love that was written all over her and Eddie’s faces as they locked eyes down the aisle. The sweetest vows were exchanged between the bride and groom who couldn’t wipe the grins off their faces the entire ceremony. Rings were exchanged and a kiss sealed their fate. The newlyweds walked out to cocktail hour beaming as guests cheered them on.

The bar was serving up Kalie and Eddie’s signature cocktails: A Dirty Martini and Old Fashioned. A European & Domestic Cheese Wedge Tray was on display for guests to snack on while Filet & Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were being tray passed. While the newlyweds were off taking photos and flying around Orange County in a helicopter, invitees could play cornhole and mix and mingle until their return. Towards the end of cocktail hour, guests found their seats, but got back up when they heard the rumbling of the helicopter approaching with Kalie and Eddie inside about to touch down. The two exited the helicopter and the crowd went wild as they walked over to the hangar for the wedding reception. Once inside the hangar, Kalie and Eddie shared their first dance before toasts and dinner. Dinner was served buffet style and consisted of Santorini Chicken, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Pear & Walnut Salad, and Grilled Marinated Vegetables. For dessert, Gourmet Rice Krispies Bars, a Sweet Treat Tray and a Large Old Fashioned Cookie Assortment was devoured by guests.

Dancing the night away worked up quite an appetite, so guests were lucky enough to indulge in an In N Out truck for a late night snack thanks to Kalie and Eddie!
