Fall Floral Wedding

Dani changed into her wedding dress, slipped into her white heels, put on her earrings, and combed her veil into her hair in the bridal suite at Hangar 21 South while Jeremy and the guys cracked open a few beers on the tarmac. Dani’s bridesmaids were dressed in light beige dresses and waited at the bottom of the staircase for their first look at the bride. When she descended the steps, all the girls gasped in shock of her beauty and compliments soon followed. Together, the girls posed for photos near Hangar’s entrance while the guys posed on the tarmac. Jeremy was suited up in black and his groomsmen, in grey with boutonnieres that matched the bridesmaid’s bouquets.  Once group pictures were complete, the party lined up for ceremony, making sure the groom didn’t see the bride before the big reveal down the aisle.

Guests entered the side patio at Hangar 21 South and took a seat facing the stage. A wooden arbor stood tall decorated in dried palm leaves, pampas, light pink flowers and foliage. At the front and back of the aisle, golden geometric structures housed even more flowers that matched the ceremony backdrop. Once everyone had arrived, Jeremy was first to make an entrance followed by the rest of the wedding party and ending with Dani. Huge smiles filled the bride and groom’s faces as they saw each other for the first time across the aisle. Vows were shared and rings were exchanged before the couple was pronounced husband and wife. Guests cheered as the newlyweds concluded the ceremony with a sweet kiss.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres awaited guests on the tarmac. Sesame Shrimp & Mango Spring Rolls and Sweet & Sour Meatballs were tray passed while the bride and groom’s signature drinks, an Old Fashioned and Lemon Drop Martini, were being poured at the bar. An ivory and rust lounge with gold details offered the perfect view of small planes taking off into the sunset and a relaxing place to mix and mingle. While everyone was enjoying cocktail hour, Dani and Jeremy took a helicopter ride over Orange County and landed just in time for dinner.

Tables were filled inside the hangar. Tall floral arrangements topped each ivory draped reception table and contrasting black napkins were knotted at each place setting. Everyone had their phone out to record the newlyweds grand entrance. As the helicopter was touching down, guests were cheering and continued the celebration as the bride and groom entered the reception space for their first dance. After, Jeremy and Dani took a seat at their sweetheart table for toasts. Friends and family shared their fondest memories of the couple and clinked glasses in the air, then dinner was served. Roasted Pork Belly, Korean Bulgogi Beef, Vegetable Fried Rice, Broccolini Spears, and Asian Cucumber Salad was selected as the wedding menu by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Arielle. As soon as everyone finished dinner, the newlyweds cut into their 3-tiered chocolate cake with cappuccino creme filling and served slices to guests. Energized from dinner and dessert, the bride and groom and their wedding guests ended the evening out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
