Edgy Glam Wedding

Alli and her bridesmaids were hair and makeup ready when they arrived at Hangar 21 South for the big day. The bridal party posed on the side patio for group pictures while Luke and the groomsmen were suiting up inside the hangar. Each bridesmaid wore a blush dress and held a bouquet of pink and white flowers, and the bride was of course in white. Together the girls made jokes and memories that were captured on film, then it was time for Luke and Alli’s first look. The bridesmaids and groomsmen watched from around the corner as Luke turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Smiles filled both their faces and sweet compliments were shared. Everyone watching oohed and aahed, then the whole group hit the tarmac for wedding party photos before ceremony.

Guests arrived on the side patio to a champagne welcome. After signing Alli and Luke’s guest book and grabbing a glass of bubbly, each guest took a seat. Two tall floral pillars stood on the stage and white petals lined the aisle. Once all the chairs were full, music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. Alli was last to walk down the aisle and when her eyes met Luke’s, you could tell love was in the air. Together in front of their family and friends, the bride and groom read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Everyone made their way to the tarmac for cocktail hour where Beef Picadillo Empanadas and Crab Cakes were being tray passed and the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Classic Margarita and Moscow Mule, were being poured at the bar. Cocktail tables were draped in black linen and a pink lounge setup with gold accents created a cozy place for guests to sit. Guests mixed and mingled and watched Luke and Alli take off on their helicopter flight over Orange County. As the hour wound down, a seating chart led guests inside the hangar to their appropriate tables for dinner.

Black, gold and pink decorated the reception space and centerpieces of deep pink and white flowers topped tables. Once everyone was seated, Luke and Alli made their grand entrance into their first dance. After ending on a dip that got the crowd cheering, the newlyweds took a seat at their sweetheart table. Family and friends shared toasts and glasses clinked in celebration, then tables were excused to fill their plates for dinner. The buffet was serving up Tequila Lime Chicken, Espresso Crusted Tri Tip, Elote Creamed Corn, Pasilla Rice, and BBQ Chopped Salad. The bride and groom selected the menu during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Lauren, and it was a crowd pleaser. Rave reviews were shared around each table and some went back for seconds. While everyone was finishing up their meal, Alli and Luke cut into their two-tiered wedding cake and invited guests to indulge in something sweet. Our All American Dessert Station was unveiled revealing an assortment of s’more macarons, gourmet rice krispy treats, chocolate ganache brownies, individual strawberry shortcakes, and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Guests grabbed a few treats, then hit the dance floor. Light sticks created a glow around the bride and groom as they danced the night away with their loved ones before saying goodbye and heading off on their forever adventure.
