It was a very special day at Hangar 21 South. We were celebrating Milena’s first birthday! Our venue was decorated in shades of pink and orange florals. A dessert table matched the pink and orange theme with a wooden hexagonal backdrop that was covered in roses and ranunculus. A wooden arch photo moment stood right next to the dessert table and was covered in the flowers that decorated the hangar. It had a macrame swing hanging from the middle that guests could sit on and take pictures in. Crab cakes with Mango Papaya Salsa and Thai Chicken Spring Rolls were tray passed for guests as they enjoyed all the activities around the venue: A face painter/temporary tattoo artist, a balloon artist, a caricature artist, a bounce house and magician.
Milena made her grand entrance with her mom and dad in our helicopter. She might just be the youngest rider we’ve had the pleasure of flying! The remainder of Milena’s birthday consisted of her first birthday grab or doljanchi, buffet lunch and of course dessert. The dinner buffet consisted of Polynesian Chicken, Kalua Pork with a Pineapple and Brown Sugar Glaze, Pineapple Fried Rice, Vegetable Stir Fry and Wild Cherry Salad. Cookies, macarons and a cake were served for dessert. Friends and family took pictures with the birthday girl before her special day came to an end.
