Disco Ball Wedding at Hangar 21 South

Taylor and her bridesmaids changed from matching pajamas into their wedding day dresses at Hangar 21 South while Austin patiently waited outside for his first look with the bride. After a first look with the girls, Taylor headed outside to see Austin. A tap on the shoulder turned the groom around and happy tears filled his eyes. The couple shared sweet compliments and ended their first look with a kiss, then headed to the tarmac to meet up with their friends for group photos. The groomsmen and bridesmaids were dressed in black, and everyone posed together in front of the Hangar 21 helicopter. After pictures, the group lined up for ceremony.

Guests entered the side patio, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Tall floral arrangements marked the back of the aisle and a matching golden arbor covered in blooms stood tall on stage. Once everyone had arrived, Austin lead the processional down the aisle ending with Taylor. The bride and groom read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and shared a kiss to conclude the ceremony.

Aperol Spritz and Blue Hawaiian signature drinks were served on the tarmac for cocktail hour while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Glazed Pear and Goat Cheese Tarts were tray passed. Guests mixed and mingled and the newlyweds went on their flight over Orange County, and upon their return, it was time for reception.

Inside the hangar, tables were topped with tall floral centerpieces and a cluster of disco balls hung over the dance floor area. Taylor and Austin made their grand entrance and shared their first dance, then took a seat at the sweetheart table. A dinner of Chicken Marsala, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Caesar Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Casey. Toasts were shared while everyone ate and glasses clinked in the air as the last speech concluded. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their 2-tiered white wedding cake with strawberry creme filling and invited their guests to enjoy some dessert as well. The evening ended with everyone having a great time out on the dance floor and posing for pictures at the photo booth.
