Blush and Ivory Wedding

William and his groomsmen posed for group photos inside Hangar 21 South while Laura and her bridesmaids gathered outside. The guys in black and the girls in pink, except the bride of course, laughed and made jokes while the photographer captured every emotion and moment, then it was time for the first look. William waited on the tarmac with his back to Laura, and with a tap of the shoulder he turned around. Holding back happy tears, the two shared a warm embrace and sweet compliments as their friends cheered from the sidelines. Everyone then joined the bride and groom for some last minute pictures before lining up for ceremony.

Outside on the side patio, a copper arbor decorated in peach and ivory roses, greenery and pampas grass stood center stage. Next to it, a table for Laura and William’s unity ceremony was draped in ivory. Guests arrived and took a seat, then a hush came over the crowd as William made his entrance. Bridesmaids and groomsmen followed and Laura entered last with her father arm-in-arm. The bride and groom tried their best to hold back tears when they saw each other from across the aisle. Meeting at the steps, Laura hugged her dad, then stood by Williams side. The two exchanged loving vows and rings and sealed the deal with a kiss. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds exited the ceremony and into cocktail hour.

Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Franks and Assorted Mini Palm Sandwiches were tray passed as the bar was serving up drinks. The newlyweds signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Cosmopolitan Martini, were the most popular selections of course. While everyone was mixing and mingling, Laura and William escaped to the tarmac during golden hour for their helicopter ride. Once strapped in, the two took flight over Orange County and landed back at Hangar 21 just in time for dinner.

Inside the hangar, tables were draped in ivory linen and topped with blush plates, tea candles, floral centerpieces and white and gold flatware. The sweetheart table was covered in flowers and greenery making it the center of attention, as it should be! Everyone stood and clapped when Laura and William made their grand entrance into their first dance. They swayed from side to side and ended their dance with a kiss, then took a seat at their table. Toasts were shared by family and friends and gasses were raised and clinked in the air, then dinner was served. A menu of BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Mashed Potato Station, Creamed Corn, and Caesar Salad was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Arielle. Guests lined up at the buffet, filled their plates, and sat back down to enjoy their dinner over light conversation. All the single ladies and gentlemen made their way out to the dance floor for the bouquet toss and garter toss as dinner was coming to a close. Everyone cheered and laughed as Laura threw her bouquet and William retrieved the garter. Afterwards, the newlyweds cut their 3-tiered wedding cake and invited guests to a slice for dessert. Full from dinner and energized from the sweet dessert, the evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
