Guests arrived at Hangar 21 South for Lindsey and Reshad’s wedding reception ready to party. Polaroid pictures were snapped of guests for the bride and groom’s guest book on the way to the tarmac where hors d’oeuvres and refreshing drinks awaited them. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas, and Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites were tray passed around cocktail tables draped in white linens and modern black and white lounge vignettes. The bar was serving up the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Joe Collins and Cadillac Margarita, along with other drinks. Everyone mixed and mingled while Reshad and Lindsey took off on their flight over Orange County, and upon their return, it was time for dinner.
Greenery and sparkling chandeliers hung above the dance floor in the center of the hangar. Around the dance floor, tables topped in dark floral arrangements created a romantic atmosphere for the special occasion. Guests found their seats and the bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. A dinner of Middle Eastern Chicken Kabobs, Beef Souvlaki, Persian Saffron Rice, Green Lemon Potatoes, Pita Bread, and Shirazi Salad was served. The menu was selected by the couple with help from our event specialist, Brittany. Family and friends stood to share toasts and glasses clinked in the air after each speech ended. Lindsey and Reshad did a quick outfit change and were back on the dance floor spinning around and inviting everyone to join them. The evening ended with sweet treats from our Gourmet Dessert Station and everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
